Creative Communities Scheme - Arts Funding

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak , the Creative Communities Scheme funding round application period has been extended to 30 April 2020. During this time you may wish to focus on individual or creative opportunities that do not involve group participation in person or consider digital participation. Please contact Community Funding Coordinator Jenny Rooney at jrooney@kaipara.govt.nz if you would like more information or if you would like to amend your already submitted application.

Council offices will be closed until COVID-19 alert level is lowered and business can be conducted safely. To submit your application, please scan your application form and attachments and email jrooney@kaipara.govt.nz or post your application to:

Apply to be a member on the Creative Communities Scheme Assessment Committee

If you would like to have a say in where the funding is allocated for the next 3 years (2019-2022 triennium) for the Kaipara District, you can apply to be a member on the Assessment Committee.

You can find the application form through this link. Please complete the form, scan and email Jenny Rooney, Community Funding Coordinator, at jrooney@kaipara.govt.nz, or you can deliver completed forms to Kaipara District Council offices in Dargaville or Mangawhai.

Applications close 30 April 2020.

 

The Creative Communities Scheme will be open for applications on 01 March 2020 until 31 March 2020 at 4.30pm. 

The Creative Communities Scheme provides funding for communities to be involved in local arts activities.  The funding supports a wide range of arts projects 

Projects must meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Access and Participation – the project will create opportunities for local communities to engage with and participate in local arts activities
  • Diversity – the project will support the diverse artistic, cultural traditions of local communities
  • Young people – the project will enable young people (under 18) to engage with and participate in the arts
