To be directed by mega-awesome Martin Scorsese. Asa Butterfield has been cast as the orphan, Jude Law as his father, and Sacha Baron Cohen as the villainous station inspector....a bit of a move away from his character in Borat!
The Rum Diary by Hunter S. Thompson
Johnny Depp gets involved in another Hunter S. Thompson adaptation! Hunter S. Thompson’s book chronicles the boozy adventures of an American journalist working in Puerto Rico in the '50s.
Depp became friends with Thompson while researching his role in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. This should be a cool film too.
