An extensive Native Revegetation Plan is underway following the removal of the mature and old pine trees in 2010 and will continue for a number of years. Alongside this has and will continue to be community involvement with planting and pest control projects and working parties. The young natives will need time to grow to provide shade in the years to come. But the Lakes, the real jewels in the crown, remain the same shimmering blue/green pools of fun they have always been. So bring your own shade and come and have some fun.
