Summer holidays are fast approaching! During this time critical council services continue, with some changes due to staff availability. 

I started at Kaipara District Council three years ago as a summer intern in my third year of university, before moving into a graduate role. Today, I am a Resource Consents Planner within Planning & Development.

The report was formally adopted following unanimous approval by elected members at the council meeting on 26 November. 

As Mayor, it is my absolute privilege to welcome you to Kaipara this summer. Our district is a place of wide horizons, sparkling harbours and lakes, rolling countryside, vibrant communities, buzzing towns and stunning natural beauty. We are proud to share it with you.

Mangawhai Road will be under a 24/7 road closure from Monday 8 December through to Friday 12 December. 

October kicked off sealing season with pre-seals completed on West Coast Road, Pouto Road, Baylys Coast Road and Colville Road, and reseals on Kai Iwi Lakes Road are underway.

Over Labour Weekend, KDC staff were deployed to Invercargill.
