Mangawhai weather event l Places of shelter for stranded drivers
Message for stranded drivers in the Mangawhai area
If you didn’t make it to one of our places of shelter in Mangawhai last night, and you overnighted in your car in the area, our staff are serving breakfast and hot drinks at these two locations:
- Campbell Park Christian Camp, corner of North Avenue, Mangawhai Heads, 280 Molesworth Drive,
- Moir Point Christian Camp, 117 Estuary Drive, Mangawhai Heads
The St John's Hall in Kaiwaka is also open
- St John’s Hall in Kaiwaka (opp the 4 Square).
We are waiting on a roading update for our local roads and will post as soon as we receive it.
