Commemorative ceremonies took place around Kaipara District on Saturday in observance of ANZAC day

Kaipara communities will come together this ANZAC Day to remember and honour those who have served.

Insley Street will be widened and strengthened as part of the district’s roading resilience programme, aimed at protecting our shoreline and roads from future storm damage. 

Kaipara District Council is establishing a new working group to actively advocate for the health and functionality of Mangawhai Harbour and its tributaries.

An official opening was held to celebrate the new, modern, warm, dry, healthy homes for older people.

Mangawhai Road will be under a 24/7 road closure from Monday 8 December through to Friday 12 December.
