An update on what's happening with the Kaihu Valley Trail.  

The Kaihu Valley Trail is one section of the Ancient Kauri Trail that will be developed in stages and eventually link Ōmāpere, on the Hokianga Harbour, to the Mangawhai Coast.

We have spoken previously about the cycle trail planned for Kaihu Valley and we are pleased to advise that $4 million in external funding has been confirmed from the Provincial Growth Fund – so now we can seriously look at the benefits of this exciting project for the Kaihu Valley and the Kaipara District.
