Elected members have agreed to undertake further community consultation regarding a potential move to base its general rates on capital value.

At the February council meeting, elected members approved up to $1.2 million in additional funds for the Mangawhai pensioner housing upgrade, to be drawn from depreciation reserves.

Council kaimahi (staff) and elected members will be at the Field Days.

The report was unanimously adopted by elected members in the 27 November meeting.
