Rural areas include – Rural General Zone, Rural Production Zone, Rural Residential Zone- Lifestyle Zone, Rural Urban Expansion Zone, and Future Urban Zone.

Residential areas include – Urban General Zone, Urban Residential Zone, Low Density large Lot, Medium Density, High Density with Development Conditions, Social Housing, Retirement Villages and home occupation.

Commercial areas include – Commercial Zone General, town Centre zone, Neighbourhood Commercial Zone, Mixed Use Zone, Industrial Zone General, Light Industrial Zone and Heavy Industrial Zone.
