Eryn Wilson-Collins

Eryn’s focus in her first term as a Councillor is to ensure communication and transparency between the elected members and the public.

Eryn was born and grew up in Dargaville.  As an adult, she chooses to live here for the lifestyle it offers.  She has a business management background and has been involved in community groups since she was a teenager.

Eryn wants to be proactive in making Kaipara a cohesive, vibrant, extended community.  She believes there can, and should be, a balance between modern life and small-town values, economic outcomes and sustainability, growth and retaining the character of the area.  She believes people and the environment are Kaipara’s most important assets.

Eryn’s focus in her first term as a Councillor is to ensure communication and transparency between the elected members and the public.  She wants to ensure that consultation is broad and sufficient, and that the community is engaged in Council affairs.

Eryn is currently the President of the Dargaville Little Theatre, Secretary of the Dargaville Community Cinema Charitable Trust and manages a local law firm.
