Gangsta show for Dargaville
So So Gangsta, a show that opened the recent Auckland International Comedy Festival, is coming to Dargaville on 14 June and could provide a launching pad for regular Kaipara comedy festivals. Read more.

Dargaville wants everyone to know it is the home of Northland's Field Days. In fact it is trumpeting the message from the masts in Victoria Street. The colourful project involving the Field Days organisers who are providing most of the funding, Kaipara District Council and Dargaville Business Forum features 14 new sails bearing the "Home of the Field Days" message and rural pictures. read more
07 February 2013 Kai Iwi Lakes Exceptional Summer for Visitors
Great weather, big crowds and praise from visitors have ensured an exceptional summer at the Kai Iwi Lakes. Ranger Dave Bolland and camp managers Andrew and Leanne Howells report a big increase in visitors, including many new faces. Both camps were busy, with Pine Beach (400) and Promenade Point (100) at capacity over New Year and Anniversary Weekend. read more
