Facilities and fees

Instructions are posted next to all Town Hall equipment.  In addition, we are more than happy to demonstrate how to use any of the following:
  • Commercial gas ovens
  • Commercial dishwasher
  • Electronic self-opening doors
  • Public Address System (including two microphones)
  • Stage lighting
Please let us know if you would like a practical demonstration, or an appointment to view the hall.
Tables, chairs, cutlery and flatware are included in your hire.
 

Fee Structure

The cost of cleaning is included in the hire fee

A bond is not required for any booking. Hirers will be billed directly for any losses, or damage to the facility, any disposing of rubbish, and/or time spent putting furniture back in its place.

  • If you are a local non‑profit making group and are hosting an event which benefits the whole community, you can apply to use the Town Hall free of charge.  Events including charity concerts, exhibitions and fundraisers have been held here in the past under this policy.  We are always glad to see the facility used for events which enrich our community.
  • Helpful Hint: If you would like to request free of charge hire for your non-profit group or event, please submit this in writing to the Town Hall Management for consideration
