Big Night Out 2012
On 31 March 2012, Kaipara District Council would like to put the Groove back in the District, by welcoming 2011 Season 6 America's Best Dance Crew, Request, to Dargaville.
Request are an all Female crew, and dance out of The Palace Studio in Auckland, New Zealand. They are a melting pot of many cultures and are brought together through their love of dance.
Request are now the number one crew in the world. Not only are they the youngest crew ever to win in the Adult section but also no other crew has ever won in both divisions before or won back to back gold medals. Request are taking the World by storm and showing that girls can dance.
They want to inspire all dancers to follow their dreams and go from their "bedroom to the world stage".
This Consert falls Saturday 31 March 2012, Starting 7.00pm at the Dargaville Town Hall.
Events Planned for 2012
An annual calendar will be designed to show the annual events for the Council.
In 2012 we will be focusing on young children and youth.
Two theatre productions will be on the cards for next year and also the readers and writers of New Zealand will be going to Mangawhai for a weekend.
