Climate Change

Kaipara District Council

The Ruawai Adaptive Pathways Community Panel is an advisory body made up of Mana Whenua partners, community and other key stakeholder and agency representatives. The Panel will lead the community conversation about the coastal hazard risks of sea-level rise and climate change in Ruawai and make recommendations on adaptation on behalf of the community they represent.

Youth, Ruawai Educators, Tangata Whenua members, and Raupō Drainage Committee members were all decided through invitation. All other members took part in an expression of interest process.
